Three p.m. snack: edamame with salt and garlic, pita garlic bread.

Delicious.

The moving process begins Friday night. I can hardly keep my under-things from bunching. This glorious Memorial Day weekend, we will be cleaning, painting and, probably, tuning in to the following shows for inspiration: Trading Spaces, Surprise by Design, Before & ( Read more... )

No way. I absolutely love it. I get to see new architecture, design, people being picky...it's fantastic.

Really, I should build houses. I would f-ing love it.

(I also love "Extreme Homes" and "Dream House")

I'll definitely take photos - I just need myself a digital camera.

We'll be in the spa tomorrow night! (Of course, it's 104 degrees outside, so hot water doesn't sound too appealing.)

we LOVE house hunters. the wife adores it and i protest just for amusement but really i like it just as much as she does.

i think it would be hysterical if they showed someone NOT getting a house. i like how they build the suspense "will bobby and susie find their dream home or will they be back on the market again?" when you know that the third house they see is the one they're getting. i wonder how many house viewings they cut out. i don't know about you, but our house search didn't happen that easily.

whee! enjoy the spa. ;)

We certainly didn't just see 3 houses - and our realtor wasn't at all like those on the show.

I can't believe they even try to make it suspenseful when we know they'll always get the house.

And, really, it's not *that* interesting when people looking for condos end up with houses or vice versa.

"And then Susie realized that to get the space she wanted, a jacuzzi tub, a brand new kitchen, a laundry room (plus a green back yard with mature fruit and shade trees) she needed to start looking at houses further from the beach."

Are the *always* in California?
