does anyone live in LA, or has anyone been to LA recently?

we'll fly into LAX, stay in LA somewhere, go to Burbank for the taping, and then back to LA.

places to stay?
modes of transportation (cab)?
what to see (if you only have 2 days)?
pretty limited budget.

i'll actually be in columbus (next fall).

and minneapolis, well, probably at least by this summer.

Actually, I've been to LA once - madhouseasylum - is she on your friends list? - she makes for a pretty decent tour guide.

I went to LA in early October of 2001 for work and didn't get out much, so I'm not much help. :)

If/when you do visit and/or move here, we should double-date -- cute!
Or game nights. My friends (they're so gay) are waaaay into game nights.
