at the senior party for carroll high the other day they were playing the my humps song. apparently they changed it from lovely lady lumps to lovely little lumps, but they still asked what you gonna do with all that ass inside them jeans, and all that breast inside that shirt.

censorship and general american "values" confuse the crap out of me. it makes me go, look, if you're gonna do it, at least do it right. not that i want them to censor shit out in the first place, but yeah. this random pick and choose thing is so illogical.

I think it's just amazing how they can censor some thing that aren't really "bad" and then the things that should really censored ... aren't.

I was talking to a girlfriend of mine the other day and we were actually talking about the young teenager who was arrested over at Tinseltown a lil' over a week ago for shooting a 24-year-old! This was a 15 year old!! C'mon man!! What is going on in this world!! That's why I am really cautious of Steven going out and playing in the neighborhood ... you know??

But then again, makes you think, what should the FCC really be censoring ...

dude, i'm sayin, what the hell IS the world coming to? i have no idea, but it creeps me out sometimes.

i get that MTV realizes they have a really really young audience, so they're trying to be responsible. fine. but it's just not ok to censor violence but not sex. makes me want to bang my head on my keyboard. lol

What boggles mind is that while you can't show nipples on TV you can show a bullet passing through a victim's head and splattering out the other side (CSI and a myriad of other crime shows in primetime). Even in the non-FCC regulated world we have strippers allowed to take off everything but a thin piece of string and they are fine but pull that aside for even a second and suddenly that crosses a moral line into the indecent. They don't allow words like gun but hate speech like faggot and nigga is allowed. Right now the line of decency looks more like a squiggle. It makes me crazy.
