So it turns out that my dad has Type 2 Diabetes. It also turns out that he was apparently informed of the risk of this months - if not years - ago and just didn't bother to pay attention to the warnings. I find families really dont talk about their health problems alot. However just by being born in and living in newfoundland you should probably assume that you could be saseptable to any and all major diseases heh
I have one uncle with diabetes, my grandmother had it and my great uncle, my grandfathers brothers had it. As of right now its more in the grandparent generation but i wouldnt be surprised if more family members develop the condition. There is also a history of stroke and some heart conditions as well...and arthritis... im starting to think i should enjoy life = get out of school and do something before im crippled heh
