If you could change our government, mold it the way you want to, what would you do?

Basically, I'm asking your views on our government, what you see as its faults, its strengths.

I value your opinion and I feel this is the perfect opportunity to ask you about this.

Yeah, I saw that video earlier today. It made me sick to my stomach.

It's a pity that this country is where it is.

this is what it has come to... even libertarians support police brutality... theoldanarchist November 18 2006, 06:09:36 UTC

I've seen this video a couple times now (Keith Olberman, to his credit, has been following the story), and I become more sick and angry every time I see it.

Unfortunately, I also read your post, and the responses it received, in the libertarianism community, and that made me even more sick. What in the fuck is the matter with some of those people? The majority of the responses were simply wrong, stupid, and scary. He refused to leave the library (which seems not to have been the case at all, in fact) so they have the right to taser him 5 times? A student steps forward and asks for the officer's badge number, and he is threatened with being tasered? If libertarians (so-called) actually agree with that, then we are in a great deal more trouble than I thought.
