Tragically, Bean 1 passed away on February 10. He died as a result of a hamster disease called wet tail, and will be missed. We suspect that he had been exposed to the disease at Petco before we brought him home, as he had been lethargic and incredibly quiet during his entire stay with us. On to a lighter note

bean 2 has only nipped at my fingers a couple times, and only because they smelled like food. he is a good hamster. crazy.... but good.
