I can't comment on some things, because I haven't actually seen CoE. What I know I know from fan comms. (thanks, fandom, for not putting your sad behind cuts when Day 4 aired) and wiki. But I just had to say..

it makes me wish the BBC would have someone do a serious novel exploring Jack's character, because I really think there's much more to go through than a TV series will ever manage.
