Title: Road to Nowhere
Pairing/Characters: Dean/Bela, Sam

Summary: Dean begrudgingly enlists Bela's help on a case with rather personal implications.
Notes: Written for spn_summerlove and meant to fit into canon between 3.06 and 3.07. Thanks to my beta luv4elvis and my very own mapquest nymeggi .

( The mountains flattened out into yellow green fields, rolling in gentle waves away from the road towards the horizon. Dean drove with his window down, and the smell of tilled earth and the slight scent of fertilizer wafted in on the damp breeze. They hit a patch of construction late in the day passing through Ohio, Dean was following the orange-marked detour along rural streets when the skies opened and delivered on their promise of rain. )

The thing that I like most about this fic is the spot-on characterisations of Dean and Bela. If the boys had disregard her sex and looked at what she does, they could have used her as much as she had used them. There's a tinge of sadness throughout the story that the characters felt as well. Thanks for sharing the fic. It is one of my favourite reads in some time.

The entire fic rocks, but I have to say that the end is my favorite part. I could totally see her saying that and Dean's comment about the Kia...that was a thing of genius. I can totally see Sam getting a Kia and Dean busting on him for it. You captured the characters perfectly.

This is one of my favorite fics ever. After reading it again I still love it. I'm with Lisa. Dre Dre fics ftw!
