I haven't posted because I had to recover from the stress of traveling and then the stress of getting back to work and THEN prep to have one guest over (with his dogs) and another surprise guest this week. It's been INSANE ( Read more... )

i LOVED the art institute in chicago! next to the speedboat ride through the city, it was my favorite thing my family did. :)

food in chicago is fantastic, isn't it?

The art institute was GREAT. There was free admission for the week we were there while they were gearing up to the official opening of the new modern wing. It was SUCH an interesting experience.

The food was great. We were limited to kosher and vegetarian-only places, but it was certainly memorable. We didn't have a bad meal there.

i remember going to an awesome thai place a block from the hotel we were staying at. it was really yummy.
