I think pitch-fork can be a verb. but I think it would be "pitch-forking"

Since I found out you would be working in Berryville, I have found my self whistling the theme from The Andy Griffith Show when I picture you there. Don't think of it as getting stupider - think of it as blending. You're using age-old methods of social camouflage in order to make your job simpler. It's your natural talent - you've always had it. And in 692 days, you'll go somewhere else, and do it again. It might just be less of a stretch for you. :-)
