Harry Potter Makes No Sense

I was just thinking yesterday that the Harry Potter universe doesn't make any sense. In the real world, our world, it takes an individual about sixteen years to master something like the English language. I'll argue in favour of HP. The kids don't really master magic. They've got a couple spells, they can fly around.... There's not much. Dumbledore showed what a better understanding of magic can do. I do think the adults should've had some better tricks up their sleeves. Maybe we just didn't see the best of McGonnagal, but I have a feeling she could've levelled a pack of 50 Death Eaters on her own.

I have, but my memory may be on vacation again. Where do you see a mastery of magic on the part of the kids, other than Hermione?

Maybe not mastery but you have professor's fighting death eaters. She did not take on 50.
