This is torture - it's 8:00 on election day here, only noon back home, and no news any which way on the leanings. I really have no idea who's going to win, but you all know who I'm hoping for! With any luck, it'll actually be resolved tomorrow, without horrible challenges, contested states, or lawsuits undermining the democratic process. It

It's not viewed so closely here, but our house only subscribes to what seems to be a Bush favored newspaper that is very pro-Bush, and ambivelant about Kerry (reflects Blair's "go with what you know" attitude). Hey, you still haven't told me what your new job is, and I'm dying to know! It's like the silly quote that apparently only I find amusing (and the other anglo-saxonists): "fog in channel--continent cut off" (a phrase they use when in A-S history, the anglo-saxons seem to just plod around doing whatever they want, unawares of the cultural advances on the continent, or vice versa), but in this case it would be, ummm, "fog over ocean, u.s. cut off??" Okay, I guess there's no connection really.... Just that I miss you a lot, and wish that I could fly ya over and plant you in my city...
