I look forward to not running apps locally. :-) Let the server do it. I use as many services online as I can now because I'm never sure what PC I'm going to be at. Then I have a mem key with putty so I can ssh into my home PC for those things I still need.

flickerfly i check out your blog almost every day (via RSS) but I am with you 100% on this I really can't wait for the growth of the web application functionality is starting to appear in a browser that will allow users a whole world of different possibilities from day-to-day thing like email to things like word processing. I see some great leaps and bounds in the next year.
