So, normally I hate playing out a lot of recognizing characters as fictional, but Carmela has canonly watched a whole lot of anime. OH RIGHT also Tales of Symphonia had its very dramatic and not very plot-correct but still pretty OVA series, if she would watch it.

Toaru Majutsu no Index season one came out in 2008-2009, and season two came out in 2010-2011. This applies to Accelerator.
Elfen Lied came out in 2004. This applies to Nana. I'd rather not have anything from past the OVA (which takes place during episode 11) mentioned, especially anything about Mariko. :|a Of course, if it doesn't come up, it doesn't come up, in which case we are square.

Aurica had an OVA but she's from a fairly obscure game/series and I ... must confess that I would be surprised if Carmela had ever even heard of Ar Tonelico, let alone watched the AT1 OVA.
Elliot's canon, Pandora Hearts, did get an anime but while the music was gorgeous, the animation was ... not so much. Your call as to whether she watched it; I really only paid attention to the episodes that Elliot was in \:D/ I am willing to link to all the stupid moments like where Leo convinces Elliot and Oz that they should never get married because it leads to them living in cardboard boxes with no kittens.
Luke's canon does have an anime and it is a surprisingly good anime, but I have no idea if she would even watch Tales of the Abyss.
AND EVERYONE ELSE IS FROM A VIDEO GAME OR WESTERN :')
