hey! ho! let's go!
what's up my people? I just thought to myself after checking the usual things I do every 20 minutes or so (email, Ljs, what have you) and said, hey, haven't written in the LJ in a while. So here I am, writing, in my LJ...
Things have been going pretty well since break. I suppose that's where I can start. Break. It was breaky, very much needed. Went to Eric's on Tuesday, saw Matt Harbinson for a few, jammed with the E-Dude, watched Almost Famous (pretty sweet flick), and then chilled. And from what I rememeber from that chillage, if you walked downstairs at the time, you would have thought we were smoking pot lol. We were so mellow and ya, definitely looked, sounded, felt like being high. It was cool. Ate breakfast, chilled, went to Melinda's and talked for 2 hours. It was fun, good to catch up with her, it had been a pretty long time since I had seen her. Went home, chilled with the fam. Next day=Thanksgiving. There was snow on the ground...ew. Drove down to my grandparents house, took a way long time cause the roads were sucktastic. Had a nice time there, always good to be with family. Everyone was amazed by the sterling engine I made in Intro to Materials Selection. Watched a little football, played a little cribbage, then left. Friday I got some skates, some new boots, a bruins jersey, and then went ice skaing. It was fun, went with my brothers. Went home, napped, got ready for Kat, and then Kat came up. Saw Harry Potter, it was good (Herminone is hott! :-P), went back and watched some movies with her. Next day, all kind of blended together since I didn't get any sleep and I was feeling pretty crappy, hung out with kat for a little bit, ate some lunch, and left. Chilled at Kat's for a bit, then went to T-Bones and saw the manly crew. It had been way too long since I had seen most of them. Then we went up to Space Center, I hurt my knee playing laser tag but it was fun anyway (Alias was Your MOM). Then went back to Eric's and chilled for a bit, listened to the new John Mayer CD, which is awesome. Then drove to Lisa's and hung out there. So for all of this time in derry, I was driving Kat's car, a standard, in the snow, for the first time by myself...let's say I was a happy boy lol. I think she trusts that I can drive her car now which I'm happy about, I also trust myself now to get a standard or what not. Anyway, went back to Kat's watched a movie, went to bed. Sunday, helped kat pack up, she drove me to Connie's and went back to school.
Week's been good. Not very busy, little homework, little stress, going pretty quickly. Tomorrow I've got a physics test which is no good but whatev, I'm not really worried about grades right now. I'm just gonna get out of this term with passing grades, and I'm pretty sure at least B's in all my classes so. I'm just ready for a change. good thing I have these 7 week terms. Finished my math homework for today and now I'm gonna get to some CAD before going to a physics extra help session which I'm not feeling up to right now. Then dinner, finishing up CAD for good, another help session at 7-8. Then studying a little bit, watching a movie around 9 or 9:30. Going to bed right after that hopefully. Big Bruins game on tonight so I might watch that, Bruins traded their captain, joe thorton, bad news. Gotta see what the new team looks like. We'll see what happens with that I guess. Then it's the weekend, going to see the Nutcracker in Boston on saturday and other than that, not too much. Gotta brain storm christmas gifts for people, do some homework, relax, just let time fly. I really cannot wait until the 14th. Got all sorts of countdowns going. I'm excited. Last night I watched Rudolph and it definitely got me in the Christmas mood. 13 days!
