OMG, it's so good to see you again, Muppet! I know what you mean on the posting thing; it's why I pretty much end up only posting random shit and nothing of any real value.

The thing is whenever something important did happen, I didn't want it to be my first post in however long, so I'd end up putting that off too.

And now I can't even think of what I want my second post to be, gosh.

Yeah, I keep thinking I should post something, some kind of update, and then I end up going, 'but I'm not doing anything interesting/important enough to bother people with' and not doing it. This was all so much easier in college, when we actually did things we thought other people might want to know about us.

I was just thinking about you yesterday! But now I'm all curious about what earth-shattering events you're holding back.

Not much earth-shattering; just having a job. XD But a lot of interesting stuff happens in my job that I want to talk about! New animal exhibits opening, and interesting people I get to talk to, and things like that.

I mean, a couple of other things too, but nothing that I wanted to be my first post in however long.

ONE OF OUR CHEETAHS LIKES TO CHASE GOLF CARTS. I have to move golf carts past her enclosure every so often and she chases them down like a puppy chasing a tennis ball. It's adorable. I took a picture that I'll have to post.

Also we're getting two new harbor seals and one of them is named Squeegee. I have not been told why.

TIRING. Lots of stuff I can't really talk about in unlocked posts yet. :P

Also I burned my knuckle last night while ironing pleats into a kilt. An actual kilt. That I sewed. O_O

Getting burns is no fun. :( Any particular occasion for which you were sewing a kilt, or did you just feel like sewing a kilt that day?

I just felt like sewing a kilt! :D It was kind of awesome. I've still to put the waistband on, but the rest of it is Very Kiltful.
