not to be a prick stunnz but i really
need to find out how your brother got HYSYS to work without crashing due to licensing issues.

seriously. i've just been handed a huge project and the cunt admin running this computer lab won't keep it open any later for us to work on it (comp lab at school has hysys).

ok so get this
I asked adam.
He said he installed it a year ago but couldnt remember what he did
He said it was a big pain in the arse to begin with.
he said follow the NFO to the LETTER!!!
When he did it he had same licensing problems because he didnt follow NFO properly.
Do this.
Thats all he can remember
If i have a few hours at home, ill install it on my PC and ill try it for myself.

i did that! or at least, i tried to; it says install it in stand-alone mode or whatever but i remember never actually being asked what mode i wanted to install it in. there's a licensing prog that comes with it, and in there i could set it to stand-alone mode (or whatever it's called), but otherwise it never came up..
