DAMNIT Batman. Why do you post and then slip off into the night? I always see you comment after midnight, and I sign on, but you are nowhere.
So... how could they possibly improve the iPhone? I mean, there are little things, like better battery life, and a faster OS (3.0), but what would be really great about a 3rd gen iPhone? Even the 2nd gen (current) iPhone wasn't a huge improvement on the 1st gen. They added a speaker, mic & volume controls, and made the back a little rounder. And it was black or white instead of scratch-prone silver. Everything else since the 1st gen iPhone has been all software, which everyone can get.
The only thing that would make me go O__O over a new iPhone is maybe a slide-out qwerty keyboard. I might wait another week or two, but I need to get a phone soon. Unless I hear/see a rumor about a new iPhone and how amazing it is, I'm not waiting.
for starters, 3.2mp camera, most likely 32gb option, matte/non-slippery case back(from a leaked pic), more ram. Software 3.0 will be cool and all, but i'm looking forward to more ram. Don't know if you ever experienced being booted back to homescreen on your touch or having the shit just freeze. A lot of my apps says not enough memory sometimes.
Ok, I know I'm late to the party, so it may not really matter what I type here, but if you can wait till June, that seems like the better option. So long as you know you'll have phone service in the interim, why not wait to see if Apple will add even more cool bells and whistles to the iPhone, right?
However, if you're like me, this point is totally moot cause there's no way that lovely new gadget could still be sitting in the box just waiting to be used. ;)
