Summer has officially begun, and I proclaim it to be the summer of George.

On Seinfeld, George Castanza found himself unemployed, living with his parents, and single. He also found that he had a severance package from his past employer, and decided to live it up. And by "live it up", George did as little as possible, and enjoyed weeks of inactivity ( Read more... )

I had a summer of jay back in 97. I got laid off due to a company going out of business, i was living at home, had a decent unemployment check plus was making money on the side.

But in all reality, it sucked. I felt like I was being left behind in the world. It's not true at all, but my neurotic mind couldn't relax. I hope you can enjoy yourself and take a breather.
