The Summer of George continues...
September has been VERY slow so far...
BUT, starting with the last week of September, my life is going to be very busy (and fun). September 26th is Vince's bachelor party... which all I've been told about is to bring lots of $1 bills. Yikes.
The weekend after that, October 2-4 I'll be going to the Long Beach Comic Con, which is only about 15 minutes away from my house. I'm gonna spend all 3 days filling up my sketchbook with commissions and sketches from some of my favorite artists.

It's the first year in Long Beach, so it's gonna be small... but I've been to the LB Convention Center before, and it's really nice. Hopefully I don't spend too much money.
Speaking of money... got my severance package today. Of course the government took close to 50% out in taxes. Ugh.
Oh well, money is money. I'm gonna pay off my credit card, put about 3-4 months of car payments down (aka, no car payments until 2010), and put $2-3k aside for fun. The rest will go in some savings account... I haven't figured out where.
And speaking of money set aside for fun; the weekend after Long Beach Comic Con is my big trip to Las Vegas for Vince's wedding. WHEW! I better enjoy the calm before the storm, cuz things are gonna get crazy fun pretty soon o__O
