But the early part of dec. is a low travel time, so thus less traffic for the store.

Less people in the airport, true, but more people buying in our shop. December is our busiest time of the year, our sales pretty much double.

happens all the time. i buy entire packs of 50 bobby pins and hair bands and end up with two about a week later...i think someone comes into my bathroom and steals them

Hehehe, yeah. That happens to me, too. But I also costume and help other people with their wigs and hair, so it's bound to make a lot of bobbypins disappear.
