[Will had been brooding a lot recently. What had happened... It shouldn't have been possible for someone of his kind to be affected like that. They could be put out of time for a while, he knew. But to have his very mind altered in that fashion... it went against his nature. And so the distraction of someone mentioning such a familiar topic came as a welcome surprise.]
