Personally I think rather than #2 being stupid, I think its quite worrying. If she wants to talk to someone about having a threesome then I'd say she isn't emotionally prepared for it, and really shouldn't be going ahead with it.

Not that I have anything against things like that, I'm sure in the right circumstances is damn fun, but if one or the other isn't really into it then its going to play hell with your relationship.
