When I was really young, 6-7yrs old, I used to give my apple sticker to a boy in my class who I liked and he'd do the same with me! We'd stick the stickers on our faces until our teacher told us to get rid of them. He'd get Granny Smith apples whereas I'd get Gala ones.

I think it's a sweet secret.. but rather weird if the person isn't talking about something/someone they did/knew as a child..
