*Suzume is dragging several enormous bags of garbage--wrappers, torn plastics, debris, broken electronics and misc. litter--from the direction of the library. She had spent most of the previous day and that afternoon cleaning out the deeper parts of it and has much more garbage (no papers, books or salvageable items here) coming. A quill is hanging out of her mouth while she labors over the random piles of trash.
She stops, getting an odd feeling. Upon inspection of her surroundings, she sees a shimmer in the air. For a fraction of a second, she suspects she sees Sho. No, it's just her imagina--
The quill falls from Suzume's mouth when she hears his voice and sees the effects of his power. She leans her head to the side and the bags of junk fall heavily to the ground. Her expression is one of unmistakable questioning fear and overwhelming curiosity.*
[His breath still a bit labored, he hears the sound of Suzume dropping the trash and takes a look behind him. Spotting the librarian, he regards her with dismissal and makes a comment to himself.] Huh. It's Kitamoto.
[Sho turns away from her again and begins to examine his handywork, thinking her reaction was from the sudden explosion, and not being able to see the cause.]
*Slowly, she bends down and picks up her quill and dusts it off, then puts it behind her ear. She's wise enough not to go further, but her curiosity is so strong that she doesn't want to leave. She was wanting to see the various phenomena of the City, and this seemed to count as one. That, and all of her fear had sunken into her legs and she felt weighed down by her feet.
Suzume feels there is something there, and as she will go no further but cannot conjure the will to leave, she plunks down on a nearby heap with her knees pulled to her chest and her chin rested on her knees. Staring. If a phenomenon seems to be observable, she will observe it.*
[Sho walks closer to the brick wall of the alley, placing a hand over the faint scorch mark there. Suddenly he rears back with his fist and punches the wall, cracking it, without any injuries to his hand. He's not concerned about what Suzume might see, too frustrated to give her a second thought.] WHAT THE N FACTORIAL!!
*Del has been roof-jumping for the better part of an hour now, going here and there and everywhere she can get too via the heights, her music blasting in her ears. The sudden disappearance of the junk pile she'd been thinking might make a good rebound spot makes her skid to a halt, just barely balanced on the roof prior to it.
Regaining her balance, she turns the music off, pulls the headphones out, and peers down at the alley below, frowning in concentration and curiosity. If anything, she's annoyed because that pile was just the right height to help her launch to the next roof over, and she's like to give whoever did that a piece of her mind.*
[After another explosion of sorts, leaving a dent in a nearby dumpster, Sho fades back into the RG, the black tattoos gone. He's doubled over in exhaustion and trying to catch his breath.]
*She lets out a sharp, startled exclamation, her precarious balance upset by the second explosion. She flails a bit, then tumbles down into the alley, landing roughly, but managing to hit the ground feet first.*
Forte-ing slurring son of a staff...
*She dusts herself off after a minute, and looks over to Sho.* You look like someone spat you out of the end of a harmonica.
