(This is a narrative between Shinju and Sho. It was written for the "kink" meme but is canon. Feel free to wander around Sho's junk pile and yell at him in this entry.)

It was perfect. An absolute masterpiece.

Sho placed the last trash can lid on the top of a towering pile of junk, looking down at his sturdy piece of work with a smug look on his face.

"This is beauty. No one but a brain-dead binomial would deny it," he mused out loud, putting his hands in his pockets. He stood on the large structure, almost able to see over the buildings around him. A few citizens of the city had to walk around it, giving Sho looks as if he had completely lost it. He had a right mind to take out his megaphone and inform these radians about true art. Actually, now that he thought about it, that sounded like a zetta fantastic ide--

WHUNK.

The structure shook slightly beneath Sho's feet. "What the factor?" he exclaimed, looking down to find a boy about his age sprawled on the base of the heap.

"Ow... what the heck, this wasn't here before," Shinju mumbled, trying to push himself off the junk pile and onto his feet. "...what in the world is this anyway?"

"Art. A zetta shame you can't see it, Gouka," replied Sho, making his way down from the structure. "Every element, every angle is flawlessly calculated."

The blind young man stood up from his position, turning towards the familiar voice and brushing himself off slightly.

"Oh... Sho. H-hey." He seemed slightly nervous for some reason, probably due to people spouting off some garbage that he needed to be "careful" around Sho. He'd seen others give the mathmetician wary looks when talking to Shinju, and he could do the math. But no matter; his plan was foolproof.

"What's with the long face? Your little variable friend won the Game, after all." He grinned, greatful for the other's lack of vision. It made him far too easy to fool, Sho felt. Easier than a Z-class code, even.

"S-so he... really did die?" the younger of the two asked quietly, reaching over to rub the scar on his right arm.

"Yeah. But he was zetta in over his head. Good thing for him I was there to add some help into the equation. I assume he got refactored back in?"

"Yes, he's... alive." Shinju paused for a few moments, turning his head to the side as if he were ashamed. "...thank you."

Sho could barely hold back his laughter, grinning like a maniac while he responded. "You're zetta welcome. It's what friends are for! We've got to balance both sides of the equation, right?"

The blind one turned back to him, smiling slightly. "Yeah." The dark-haired mathematician noticed something in his eyes he didn't see often. Now he realized he was one iteration closer to his final solution.

Shinju trusted him.
