Hey, this is Jake. This morning at about 8:30 at Flint International Airport Ben got on a plane and headed to Salt Lake City and is now on his way to visit my grandparents in Idaho Falls. Kind of a bad day for me considering I havent spent much more than a week or two apart from him for 17 years. My mom didnt even cry that much but i couldnt help

hey this is michelle by the way...i love you jake!! that was really sweet of you. Ben means so much to me, and i even remember sitting in school yesterday at around 8:00 and thinking to myself, the most important person in my life is getting on a plane right about now and yesterday i gave him one last hug and said my final words to him for 2 years..i cried too. im really glad that you are doing this for Ben, and even though i will be writing to him like a maniac, i would love to hear it from you too. i would also love to keep in touch with you and the rest of your family, you are all so great!! so dont be afraid to call if you just want to talk and need someone to listen, or if you ever need another ride, i am ten min away! and if i am not over at christmas time, make sure to tell ben that i say hi and that i miss him and wish him all the best. well keep in touch, tell the family i say hi, and like ben would tell me...dont worry, smile! see you in school.
