Ok now that I've seen them all together (thank ya :)) my final vote is......

Lewis.

It sounds like the better deal to me. Yes, the jobs near Concordia sound awful nice, but you can get a nice job at Lewis too. Lewis sounds like it's going to save you an awful lot of money, and plus the "bad things" are easily remedied. Commuters will go home on the weekends -- well, if you don't make friends, it won't affect you. But if you do make friends, which you obviously will, then you can still hang out with them on the weekends. You know? It would be like you're staying at your home and their going to theirs, and it would be easy to hook up with them for a few hours on the weekends. They'd be right around the corner.

Besides, if you get a free fridge and microwave, you hardly ever will have to go to town!

So yes, one vote for Lewis. Two, if you count your mom :)

i dunno i think Concordia sounds better. You dont get free stuff but if theres lots of jobs then that shouldnt be too much of a problem.
it also sounds like you'd have more fun there. so thats what i say :D

Wow. I really hate to be so indecisive, but I guess you have to decide based on what's most important to you.

Socially, I'd pick Concordia. Lots of jobs, and it sounds like the social scene down there could be really good, what with students staying all the time and the fact that it's close to the city :D Plus, you say you think you'd fit in well there...that's very important.

But I agree with Michelle that Lewis sounds like a better monetary value. And you know what? The "more protected" thing gets my attention. You do need to be safe. :) I'm not implying that you should be paranoid, but I'd hate to see you go to a school with less-than-normal security.

Good luck with your decision. And I hope your roommate is really cool. Assuming you have one...?

P.S. Yeah, in your position I'd pick Concordia unless the security at Condordia makes you feel endangered.

curley the only thing i can tell u is that it is compleatly up to u. the only reason im actually commenting on this is cause u we almost pleading me for my opinion. look i cant help u cause we have different goals for college, like u wanting to get as far away from ct as posible and i just want to stay sort of close and in a place that is fimiliar. also i think u should look into the actual programs u r going into and find out how good they actually r. u said that every one at lewis passed the education exam and i would have tryed to find out if it was cause it was easy. i pesonally would go for tough but somthing that i would get more out of then the easy classes. u also really need to consider how important it is to have ppl on campus all the time cause as u said some ppl will commute but not every one will so how important is it really that ppl commute back to houses? if u like the lewis cause better and its cheaper then it might be a better choice. but in the end all i can do is give questions, cause no one can make this ( ... )
