thats so funny. i was passing by that walmart the other day and thought to myself... "man, wouldn't that be a funny picture." looks like u beat me to it.

i didn't see them behind wal-mart, but i took my pic off of the interstate. what exactly are the crosses there for? are they building a church there, or did they erect those things just for the heck of it?

They wanted to "spread the message of the love of Jesus Christ and to set an example for all the people who pass through and/or live in Baton Rouge." The site is going to be another big ass Bethany church. Larry Stockstill (the pastor and owner) may start trading stock very soon. Those people are loaded like you wouldn't believe. But it's all in the name of Jesus, so it's OK! I grew up near the original Bethany in Baker and I've been to a few services. They REALLY get into the practice of praising Jesus. Some people consider Bethany as just another cult. No commet about that. heh
