RELATIONSHIPS
friends/allies
Rin Asano^
Blade of the Immortal
"Trying to look it up, but no luck so far."
A nice girl, probably a bit on the naïve side. The huge difference between time periods makes it a bit difficult for them to hold a conversation, though they've gotten along well and have much to teach one another. For her part, she's got a head start in the whole library research thing, and he respects her work in it. She tends to pester him a lot about his Gundam though, which makes for very awkward conversations.
Naoto Fuyumine
DOGS: Bullets and Carnage
"What? If you have something to say, then say it."
Just a little frustrating to be around, though recently they've just been sort of running into each other a lot. They are getting along, in that strange, awkward sort of way. But she could be counted on. They have a strange friendship--if one could even call it that, though they're beginning to warm up to each other. Lately though, she's been giving him these accusing looks. She tops their OT3.
Rapunzel
Tangled
"I'm learning something new every day while I'm here."
A civilian. She's the first one he meets on the island, though they didn't hit it off straight away. He learns to warm up to her eventually, finding her strange but charming. Chipper and earnest like Mileina Vashti, and always willing to help. Definitely someone he can trust.
Haruki Koutake
Di[e]ce
"And- And Kazuki's still here. I'll be fine."
A kid Tieria barely glimpsed during a scuffle with one of the island nasties. He's either the clone of, or a genetic donor of a DNA template to, or probably just a relative of the guy who just rescued him. Either way, it's odd, but he's a helpful sort, a lot quieter than his..."twin." Other than that, he seems like a nice, regular kid who really shouldn't be here.
Kazuki Naruse^
Di[e]ce
"Heyyyy! Tieria! How's it goin'?"
A kid who can put up a fight with a sword better than an Innovade with a gun. He's kind of enthusiastic, eager, and somehow knows about the Gundam, though T-chan's eventually come to accept that and understand that this kid poses no threat (to him). And Tieria's super Innovade multitasking skillz are no match for this adorable bundle of energy. Patrol duty will be hilarious. Also, Tieria owes both him and Haruki one ride in the Seravee.
Bridget^
Guilty Gear
"Um, hullo everyone..!"
A fellow trap--and one who dresses better at that. They haven't spoken much, but Bridget is something of a mechanic and handy with technology. Overall though, Bridget's just a nice guy, and they get along well enough.
Big Boss^
Metal Gear Solid
"I can teach anyone to be a teamplayer. That's the school of hard knocks for you."
The de-facto leader of the village and something of an authority figure for Tieria, though he feels a little weird about saying Big Boss's name. BB he finds a useful enough ally--he's a veteran when it comes to combat situations, and in times like these, maybe even survival. BB is also rather obnoxious, especially during the town meetings, and Tieria finds him a bit suspicious for being somewhat knowledgeable about giant robots. For now however, he chooses to trust him.
Bela Talbot
Supernatural
"Please...I may look like a lady, but that doesn't mean I always act like one."
She's way out of his league. A woman who befriended him when they met near the Ruins. He finds it a little awkward talking to her, though he thinks she's nice enough, especially with regards to his getting all hush-hush about Celestial Being and that Gundam of his. He sees her as a potential ally, even a comrade-in-arms should need arise.
Monkey D. Luffy*
One Piece
"FFFFFFFFOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDD!!!!!!!"
Another one for the What Is This I Don't Even files, this here kid is weird and oddly cheerful and a lot more than Tieria gives him credit for. He is also an idiot, but Tieria doesn't even mind so much--Luffy's a good kid, reliable when he needs to be, though he never fails to surprise. Also, he wants to eat the island's monsters. Yep.
Superman^*
D.C. Universe
*brainbreak*
A very helpful alien (??!!) with decidedly human personality quirks. (What is this gender you speak of, Supes?) Besides that, he was the former leader--by unanimous vote--before his mysterious disappearance which put Big Boss in his place. That totally doesn't make Big Boss look suspicious at all.
Riza Hawkeye^
Fullmetal Alchemist
"Whatever this is, we will work, together, through it."
His patrol leader, and a stern and efficient woman. Someone Tieria would lump in the same category as Big Boss for combat experience and no-nonsense attitude, as with their talk of teamwork. In her softer moments, she also reminds him of Sumeragi Lee Noriega.
Hope Estheim*
Final Fantasy XIII
"Usually happens here...? What does... waking up on the beach or getting chased by an umbrella?"
A kid who's a bit troublesome when he first arrived, though his panic is understandable. Tieria doesn't know much about him, but he does worry about Hope, somewhat, especially since he came back to the island without any memory of being there before. They got along better after their second (and to Hope, the "first") meeting, and the kid even managed to pull a smile out of the line-facer.
Serph^*
Digital Devil Saga
"Everything at their core, even human beings, are data."
He calls himself the "leader" of the Embryon and hails from a world of "data." He also professes to be a demon, though Tieria isn't quite sure what he meant by that, except that Serph's somewhat friendly for all of that, albeit having little qualms about eating the face-fruit.
Leonardo da Vinci^*
Assassin's Creed
"...were you born on the moon?"
(Of all the quotes the mun picks up...) A strangely-dressed but otherwise friendly person. Tieria's a bit worried about those curious looks he keeps giving the Gundam, though, but he has somehow employed Leo to help him repair the Gundam. A good man, if a little overly enthusiastic, and he's still trying to brain the fact that the Leonardo da Vinci is helping him out with his Gundam. I mean, come on!
Yuji Yata^*
Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service
"Oh, well... everyone knows about Gundam, at least where I'm from."
A boy that's as peculiar as the world he claims to come from. Gundams are a franchise? Haw haw. Also, that puppet, which Tieria doesn't mind so much, seeing as how he's used to being friends with a certain someone with a split personality. He initially suspects Yuji to be a Federation spy, but has warmed up to him over the course of their conversation, especially considering that he already has one other comrade on the island who knows about Gundams too.
Itsuhito Hadesu^
Hokenshitsu no Shinigami
"I see. Thank you very much for your consideration; I take it that means you've tried to eat one?"
The village doctor--very reliable in more ways than one. Tieria can trust him with his unique medical stats.
Heine Rammsteiner
DOGS: Bullets and Carnage
"So, you’re doing something about this too?"
Naoto's friend, and thus a potential ally. Tieria doesn't know much about him, but his curtness is somewhat comforting to be around. They don't so much have awkward conversations as they don't have conversations at all. Like Naoto, he's not one for small talk--again a plus for poor Tieria--though Tieria's surpised to note that he's somewhat more sociable than her. Somewhat. He's also stupidly reckless. The other third of the OT3.
Sera*
Digital Devil Saga
"I'm glad..."
A sweet girl, certainly not the kind of girl who should end up in a nightmarish place like this. She's also one of Serph's people, as if that monster arm thing wasn't any indication. For all of that she seems too innocent and naïve, but as their first conversation goes, she's his comrade too.
Lirael
Abhorsen
"It would take more magic than I've ever heard of to make the sun and stars go away, and stop the moon's phases like this."
A magician of sorts. He's still trying to, um, adjust to the fact that some people exhibit supernatural abilities. T-chan finds her useful for info on the supernatural.
Kyoichi Utsume
Missing
"Not very effective, was it?"
Very useful newcomer with information on the supernatural. They get along, but it's kind of a very quiet, sometimes snarky, and totally brooding sort of way. He's not a bad guy, but Tieria can tell--Utsume's seen a lot, and he sympathizes to some extent.
???
Gamzee Makara^
Homestuck
"Shit, sister.
Your hair's motherfuckin' purple."
A troll with a
very suspicious last name who is for the most part, harmless. And strange. Very strange. He's pretty stoned, though one figures it's probably a good thing considering where they all ended up at. Tieria, however, is quite wary of Gamzee, and doesn't really know what to think of him. For now he'll treat Gamzee like any other civilian, and protect him when needed, but if anything else, he at least finds Gamzee a tad annoying. Currently, his presence sets Tieria on edge. This guy is a dangerous and unpredictable murderous psychopath who sets T-chan on edge, because hello? Ali Al-Saachez. Their relationship may be strained forever.
neutral
Suien*
Naruto
"Hnn. You should explain yourself.
Now."
One of the newcomers Tieria speaks to, though not by much. All Tieria knows is that Suien's confident in his ability to defend himself, and is probably right.
The Master^
Doctor Who
"Well, I don't plan on making friends with the local fauna. Terrible manners."
8T
Ciel Phantomhive
Kuroshitsuji
"I'm perfectly fine, I can defend myself."
A random boy Tieria meets in the Ruins. He looks frail, but he insists that he can look after himself. After seeing one too many child prodigies and what-have-you, Tieria's inclined to believe him.
Shiki Ryougi^*
Kara no Kyōkai
"Sorry, but you're the one that approached me. I don't care about you at all."
She identifies herself as a "killer," though Tieria has yet to see her as an enemy. Their relationship remains strained, though in Shiki he sees a bit of his former self.
Yukito Tsukishiro
Card Captor Sakura
"That's really amazing."
A random kid he meets at the Beach. Doesn't appear to be scared of the Gundam.
Conner Kent*
D.C. Universe
"a battle, huh? but thanks, ill do that. dont worry too much though i can take care of myself."
On one level, he's a mere civilian--a random teenager who had the worst luck to end up here. Little does Tieria know that he's also an alien, and related to Superman, no less.
Ash Ketchum^*
Pokémon
"And my name's Ash Ketchum, from Pallet Town in the Kanto region!"
A normal enough little boy with very strange pets. He may or may not come from a dystopian world where powerful cutesy little monsters are frequently pitted against each other to the amusement of children who set off on dangerous journeys to capture and train said dangerous creatures. Dammit, T-chan.
Stephanie Brown
D.C. Universe
"What about the ones who're only good for hiding?"
Another civilian trying to cope with living on the island. A nice girl, tries to help out when she can. And she seems oddly familiar...
Robin
D.C. Universe
"Nice catch. Come here often?"
A strange and reckless girl in a too-bright costume. Appears to be somewhat experienced in battle, but shouldn't be left alone with enemies.
The Metatron
Dogma
N/A
Really snarky winged humanoid.
Nabuca
Now and Then, Here and There
"Go away..."
A random kid trapped in this island. Poor kid. The recent event's got to him bad.
Celty Sturluson
Durarara!!
"Shooting before asking questions sounds cool in theory, but it's really just rude."
A Dullahan. He mistakes her for a monster at first, and she kinda...knocked him out. But they're on okay terms now that everything's all cleared up. He's still trying to brain how it's even possible for her and her horse to be headless, harmless (to them), and alive.
Izaya Orihara
Durarara!!
"If only you knew what kind of things I had to dodge from home~"
TROLLY TROLL TROLL. T-chan doesn't know it yet, but he'd better watch out for this one.
Cielo
Digital Devil Saga
"Nuh uh! Dere ain't so such ting as a useless emotion, mon."
He's probably from the same world as Serph. One in which the sun can turn people into stone, or something like that. Not a bad guy, but a bit perplexing. Potential ally? Or is he just befriending all of the DDS derps around the island? :T
Batman*
D.C. Universe
"It's as yet unconfirmed."
The island's best vigilante, and the reputed Mr. Untraceable. Got
trolled spectacularly at one point. A useful guy, apparently on their side, but very mysterious nonetheless. Really curt and to the point--which are good traits in T-chan's book.
Catwoman
D.C. Universe
"I don't need an escort, don't you worry..."
Mysterious lady. Implied to be, well, something of a threat. He'd better watch out.
William Herondale
The Infernal Devices
" my mother always taught me not to accept help from strangers"
Obnoxious, annoying, and strangely familiar...
James Gannon
Hyenas
"Just follow the...smell."
Might need to watch out for this one. He talks of killing, and he's admitted to not quite being human. T-chan's a bit cautious around this one.
Karkat Vantas
Homestuck
"NOT THAT I KNOW OF, NO!!!
THAT'S THE FUCKING PROBLEM!"
One of the "trolls." Tieria's seen him as being one of the more abrasive of his kind, if at least a bit more sensible than the rest. Too bad they had to meet at the worst time, but hey, even the aliens here need to be protected.
Adam Milligan
Supernatural
"Thanks man. I appreciate it."
They've gone off to a rocky start when Tieria subdues him during his hallucination-induced paranoia. Poor guy--T-chan tries to help out, but they somehow ended up in a brawl. He doesn't regret helping out the guy, and they get along well enough. But it's hard to tell what they are to each other at this point.
Naoshi Haruki
Starry☆Sky
"Did-- did it just-- riddle us?"
Room-buddy after the Gamzee episode. Apparently an astronomer--might be useful, but for now, he'll just have to keep this guy from getting killed by the island nasties. Civilians. Civilians everywhere. *sigh*
{...}
Hanna Is Not A Boy's Name
"That's good to know."
He's not really sure what this guy is, but apparently he's looking for a boy named Hanna.
