Seventeenth Krieg - Action/Phone

[There's something in the skies today Mayfield. Whatever it is, it's big, as it blackens the sky as it passes overhead. If you look above you, you'll see a large zeppelin with the named "Hindenburg II" on it. It appears to stay over Nelson Street for the most part, circling the neighborhood, but it occasionally drifts to other parts of the town ( Read more... )

[At the very top of a lamppost, Slugger stands craning his neck to peer up into the sky as the massive floating object blots out the sun overhead. Never has he seen such a thing before and for a while, he'll just stare quietly up at it.]

[Oh hey there Slugger. Have a fatass German grinning over in your direction.]

Do you like it?

[Upon hearing the voice, Slugger spots the familiar "butcher" below. Could the thing in the sky belong to him?]

What is it?

A zeppelin. You've never seen one before?

[He shakes his head.]

What does it do?

It strikes fear.

Perhaps not now. But imagine it's sunset, in a peaceful city, the sky entirely clear. And then, from nowhere, comes the hum of an engine, and the setting sun is blotted out as a shape, hard to distinguish in the fading light.

But soon, it covers the sky. And then? It unleashes a torrent of fire, bomb after bomb hitting the street below. Scattering cars. Scattering buildings. Scattering people.

[Impressive. It confirms his suspicion. This floating instrument of war could only belong to the Major. Slugger looks up into the sky once again to watch the massive object drift lazily across the sky, dragging its shadow along over the entire block.]

Mind if I get a closer look?

[He's looking down at the Major again, grinning.]

Oh?

[Interested. Very interested.]

And how might you do that?

[The answer to this can best be explained through demonstration. As soon as the question has left the Major's mouth, Slugger's grin stretches further and in the following instant, he seems to melt away into shadows and then into thin air, leaving the lamppost empty.

However, if the Major looks down the street just a short distance, he will spot the monster boy perched atop the next lamppost in succession on that side of the street. This will no doubt speak for itself.]

[The Major grins. My, how interesting! It's hardly the first time he's seen someone teleport like that. Hell, Schrodinger essentially appeared around the same age as Slugger, as well, if perhaps a little older.

This town simply was filled with memories.]

And what might you be looking for up there?

I'll see when I get there.

[Still grinning. This is to mean that he's essentially going to explore it freely whether he has permission or not.]

[Yeah, the Major kind of figured that much, and just laughs.]

Well. Do tell me what you think when you're done.

[That's all the permission he needs. Not that he needed it at all, but he has his reasons for asking. Slugger dips his head to the Major, pinching the visor of his ball cap, then vanishes once again.

Where he next arrives is on board the zeppelin, which will probably be empty (but feel free to dictate what he sees).]

[It's empty of all the things that could, say, be harmful. But the swastikas and other emblems of being a Nazi airship are certainly there. Whether they have any meaning to Slugger or not, eh, that's for you to decided.

The place is also huge. It's easy to see why you would use it to transport troops. Other than that, though, there simply isn't much to see, as all areas that would possess weapons are gone.]

[World War II and Nazi Germany are things even Slugger knows about and he easily recognizes the Nazi paraphernalia. He's seen the Major wearing those very symbols at least a few times before.

He starts by exploring the long, cavernous corridors which he imagines once held a variety of "war stuff" before moving on. If he finds an observation area, he'll peer out the windows, and as he comes across the control hub, he'll probably sit in the pilot's seat and pretend to steer like any dumbass kid would do if given the chance. (Fortunately, he isn't stupid enough to steer it for real; he heard somewhere that hydrogen is explosive or something like that.)

A Nazi airship being faux-manned by a monster child with psychopathic tendencies---this is exactly what Mayfield's airways need.]
