Why does it have to reset/go out at 3am every night? Why does it have to "shut off" due to inactivity? Are you supposed to be constantly doing something with the remote that I'm not aware of? Bah.

And the internet that came with it sucks, too.

It's stupid and I hate it.

the internet just likes to limit what i do, so if i'm online too long it freaks out and won't work again 'til i reset either my computer or the connection and THAT IS BULLSHIT OK.

I haven't used the internet but my mom did... was slower than dialup. But I've never had that shutoff due to inactivity crap. We've had satellite on and off for years now and I don't remember it... maybe I just never pay attention to it. With cable though, it was so fucked up to the point it went out more and every night it would go out for an hour or two at midnight for months.

we never had a problem with cable. it actually wasn't bad internet before, it's the new router that sucks. my cable in my apt likes to freak out though.

My brother lives in an area that forces him to get sat, nothing but trouble with it and the internet.
