I guess my attitude is the same I took with dying my hair. Yeah it's a little extreme (though, a mohawk is moreso than dying your hair), but you only live once. If you want a mohawk, get one. At this age, your more likely to get away with it (and look good with it) than at any other, do fucking hell man, do it! If your family freaks out, tell them this is what you want to do. Hair grows back - it's not permanent, and it's not like you have to worry about a job or something. I mean, my family was pretty freaked out too but they got used to it so yours probably will too.

Additionally, I think you'd look awesome with a mohawk. b^-^d animu faasuu~

I'm the same way. Hair grows back, so even if it looks like crap it'll be gone in basically a month's time. And if it looks shitty put up, I can always just leave it down. It's not like piercings either where you have to hide them for jobs - I'm pretty sure the field I'm going into is slightly more accepting of whackiness than most (film ftw).

I just don't know how it'd look with my face.

Well, we'll see how it looks when I actually get it without the shaved sides. If I feel like I could maybe pull off shaved sides, then I'll have it get cut. It's easier that way ('coz you know I can't magically regrow my hair that fast.)
