does anybody know if there is a plug in or something winamp so that it will display japanese text? i mean kanji or katakana or whatever. i don't like it when the song i'm listening to is "empty boxes because winamp sucks". :(

There wouldn't be a plugin, because it's looking to your computer to support said languages. You just need to install the fonts for the languages. Here's how: http://newton.uor.edu/Departments&Programs/AsianStudiesDept/Language/asianlanguageinstallation_XP.html

Hopefully that works. I've never done it that way before, but it's been forever.
