This post is going to serve no purpose but I just felt like sharing, in no particular order, what KMFDM albums I feel are the best. Because I'm bored and listening to them (MUST GET 3000 LISTENS).
How has your heart been acting up? Tightness, irregular heartbeat, trouble breathing? It may be heart palpitations. I get those quite a bit (more so when I'm stressed, but they happen a lot of times without a trigger). When my mom was working for a cardiologist, she spoke with him about it and he said it's very normal for women to get heart palpitations in the late teens-early twenties. I guess my mom had them pretty commonly too. There really isn't anything you can do for them other than just wait it out. At least, that's what I was told. I guess I'm thinking in the sense of 'if I can save you guys a trip to the doctor...' but I guess if you have insurance, it doesn't matter lol.
I really need to listen to all my KMFDM CDs. I have like... 8, and the only one that's gotten any a lot of play would probably be Tohuvabohu, maybe WWIII. And now that you mention it, I do need to pick up Symbols at some point. I keep hearing how good it is.
Irregular heartbeat occasionally, and something that seems to maybe be a murmur. I've had them since Sophomore year of HS or something, idk, and were pretty much gone when I gave up caffeine but eh. Regardless of if I shouldn't worry, I do need to go in regarding my sleep. I can seriously get 7-9 hours of sleep, wake up, be "awake" for 30 mins, then be ready to sleep again. Always.
All KMFDM albums deserve at least one listen through, but there are a few that can be put on the backburner for a while. Tohuvabohu is great, and Symbols is even better. Also it appears that the "extra tracks" on re-releases of Xtort and Nihil are just the last track split into two (rip off, imo. Love you KMFDM but that's just dumb.)
I'm that way on sleep too, though I think it's mostly my meds. Both Zoloft and Tegretol have a sedative effect. Once I went on both, all I did was sleep for 10-12 hours and still feel tired. But that's beside the point. It could still be heart palpitations; I really don't know what a murmur (which I keep trying to spell murrmurr, oh murr) would feel like. I know my mom said caffeine aggravates them and I remember when I used to get them alot that I would get more when I drank soda. But yeah, that's just my assumption. If they do anything, they'll probably give you this little box that hooks up to sensors that you wear on your chest, and it tracks your heartbeat to 24-48+ hours.
lol that is a bit of a rip-off, but whatever. I really need to listen to Nihil more, and I don't think I have Xtort. I guess that'll go up on the 'pick-up' list. Finally, I have some CDs to be that aren't random samplers, lol.
The thing with my sleep is it isn't triggered by anything external like medication or anything. It's just I'm always tired all the time. A murmur is like... uhhh idk. Honestly. I just always used that word. Lol.
Xtort is pretty good and one of my favorites but it's not everybody's cup of tea. I'd download it first, tbh.
You might try looking into sleep apnea (periods where you cease to breathe in your sleep; usually found in overweight and obese people but I think it can happen to anyone, just less often) and something called chronic fatigue syndrome. Either of those could lead to being tired a lot, even if you sleep a bunch.
Also: FUCK YEAH SYMBOLS. Nihil is awesome too and, I agree, Tohuvabohu did make up for the relatively lackluster post-2000 album releases.
