i find it amazing i'm the only person who wouldn't pay. everyone who says they would pay totally neglects the fact that the FRIEND let you drive and thus assumed a RISK since they were not driving. Why are they having you drive their car? The only reason i can think is because they are a DUI, and thus it's their fault for being unable to drive, and any accident that might occur is probably better than that dumbass going all DUI. And if your friend let you drive the car for no good reason in bad weather the guy is a tard, and should be taking responsibility for his neglegent actions. Their is fault on the driver, but equal fault on the owner of the vehicle. I've driven a friends car before (due to DUI) and the steering and speedometer was totally fucked, if i would of crashed it i would of felt no guilt because she didn't even bother to tell me before hand that this car had SERIOUS problems.
