More reasons to hate prop 8

As you all know, prop 8 is the gay marriage ban that has a slight lead in the number of votes so far. I just got off the phone with Dave, and he had some interesting things to say about it (even though he lives in Oregon) that I thought I should share ( Read more... )

Hoping hoping hoping. Refreshing every few minutes isn't good for my peace of mind. *Does it anyway

Maybe I was too optimistic, but I wanted to be optimistic because I wanted to believe our state was better than this. I haven't given up. Come on California, you can do it. D:

Also, ironic that this is all happening in the year that the Democrats are doing well. I know that Democrats =/= approval of gay marriage, but still.

Utah was one of the leading out of state contributers. Just saying.

Although they're using their power to push political issues, they still used all the legal mechanisms. I just wish they'd lie less about ALL OF IT. I mean... show me one Yes on 8 ad that wasn't misleading/a lie.

At least it's legal to be homosexual.
