If you read the description, they composite 3 different images: the cloudless map of Earth, the bright/dark pattern, and a compilation of cloud images from current sattelites. You're really just looking at real clouds on an old background with fake sunlight.

THE EARTH DOESN'T REALLY EXIST AT ALL!!!!!
