I'm happy for you. I know how worried you were about Alex. :-)

I've never read any Patterson. I'll have to hit the library and try one of his books.

Heeee! I love Patterson. One of my favorite authors. Though I've only had a chance to read the Alex Cross series. I have a few other books of his I need to read, plus all the ones I don't have, like the new series, lol.

I absolutely adore the Alex Cross series, though. (Still need to get book 9, lol.) If you've ever seen the movies Along Came a Spider or Kiss the Girls...those are first 2 Cross books. (Granted they made the movies out of order and the books are 10 times better anyway, lol. But I just love Morgan Freeman as Alex Cross, so it's cool, heeee.) The books are completely creepy. Patterson has this knack of letting you inside the killer's head. And what's creepy, there really are people out there as psychotic/wicked as the killers in his books. Kiss the Girls scared the hell outta me when I first read it, lol.

I could go on and on about that series, lol!

Morgan Freeman does indeed rule as Cross. I am not happy with the changes they made for the movies, though. No Nana Mama, no Sampson, no kiddies . . . I understand the why, but it still sucks royally.

And the new series is rocking as well.

Oh, I completely agree with you there! I'd started reading the books after I saw Kiss the Girls, so wasn't quite as disappointed as one usually is when they read the book first. Then I found out it was a series and Along Came a Spider was before it. We had that book as well, so I read that, then re-read Kiss the Girls before continuing with the series. Then they made Along Came a Spider into a movie (interesting to me how this is the only time Morgan Freeman ever reprised a role in his entire career). I was highly disappointed with it ( ... )
