Can't muffin break give you full-time? That sucks. You could always get a job at a shitty fast food place in Southland, they always seem to be looking for people, but that'd probably drive you insane.

How about The Reject Shop :)? Seriously, if you know Jeremy and Mark you're more likely to get hired than someone who has no connections at all. Plus, Mark is a trainee manager so he'd have a pretty big say. The Reject Shop is cool :P. The pay is pretty good and it's not hard at all. Hehe. Help,! I think I'm obsessed with my job :P.

yeah they can but if i took it i would pretty much have to admit myself to an asylum.
i actually asked mark briefly, he said they just fired people.
so...i cant even be a fellow reject with you! unlessssss i'll consider chaddie. put in the good word!

Hehe!!

Seems like a bit of an inconvenience for you to go all the way to Chaddie when you live like 5 minutes from Southland :S. If you seriously want me to ask about it for you I can, but yeah.

When I took my year off between high school and uni, I worked at Roy Morgan Research for a couple of months. It was a market research call centre, so it pretty much involved me calling people to ask for surveys. It SUCKED! It sounded really good at the beginning cause you got on a commission basis (i.e. per survey you got completed), but some nights NO ONE would want to do a survey, so I'd be left with shit all money at the end of the week. Plus, supervisors are listening in on you and it's a very pressurised environment. So, in conclusion, cross call centres off your list. If they were even there in the first place :).

i will indeed inform you if i ever find something.
all there is are receptionist jobs that require experience...but then...how does one get experience.
i think we'll have to resort to work experience.

Be like me, look into working holidays! Canadian Summer is coming up! Just work full-time until May and then come over here for 5 months. OR do a working holiday in the UK at a pub or something. Look up OWH and go to some info sessions, there'll be heaps coming up. Good luck hun!
