I'm going to be giving up 'junk food' for the month of May. I realised how much candy & fizzy drinks and chips I consume, and that can't be good for me. So in May I will reject anything that is deep fried, a carbonated soft drink (and even those peach iced teas - they have as much sugar as a Coke), chips/buiscuits, or made excluisively out of sugar ( Read more... ) -

Holidays
I know holidays are meant to be relaxing, but working 4 days a week in a children's clothing store is anything but. I've come to the conclusion that as soon as people spawn they become nuts.

Note: I was wrong not to see the “new” Batman movie (Batman Begins)… Was surprisingly good, not super!cartoonish like the previous ones. A bit dark, had jui jutsu in it (it becomes fun when you begin to recognise moves can do them). I suck
OK, so I promised myself that as soon as exams ended I’d go back to doing aikido 3 times a week. Barely a week later I’ve missed 2 out of 3 times - I didn’t go on Thursday because it was my super!happy I’ve finished exams/ I can finally see my boyfriend and watch tv stuff (like new the Supernatural and Heroes and Veronica Mars & etc). SHOES
My new job rocks. Because: I got to go to the Australian Shoe Fair, and get paid. Without doing much work, other than saying hi, smiling, being artificially nice to people, giving them a pricelist and talking about shoes. And I get to be in the presence of 2007 winter stock shoes. Any Given Sunday
Went to see the da Vinci machines exibition today. Inner geek is muchly satisfied. It also now desires a flying machine. Or at the very least to go an do some flying... <-- like handgliding or parasailing. Have also been to the docklands for the first time. Melbourne turns out to be a port city ( Read more... )
