Gah. I totally sympathize. Feel the same. I was really absent-minded yesterday and lost one of my contacts. Full blown rant from the madre about how I'm old enough to know better and how I'm a totally irresponsible human being. Etc. Etc. Me: biting my tongue not to burst out, oh yeah? What about those half dozen pair of designer sunglasses you've lost? Grr...
