*sigh of appreciation* I love it already. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for starting another Harry/Draco fic. :) May your progress be smooth and your updates frequent. :) You're a very talented writer, and I'm vastly looking forward to your next chapter already. :) Have you considered posting it to skyehawke? That could be a way around the too-long-for-the-cut issue; you could just post the link. It's really easy; just copy and paste. :) And post Tempus Fugit, darnit! People need to read that! *blows kisses*
What a lovely review! Thank you so much for your comments, they were just fab and made me squee. My updates will be as frequent as possible, I promise! I don't want to keep THA as a WIP for too long because WIPs are annoying punishments sent from Satan. I think I will start posting at Skyehawke but I am so behind the times, even my computer mocks me when it thinks I can't hear it. Bastard.
this is really quite beautiful. I love how you have Harry behaving; it's fitting and different from a lot of fics that have him mourn right after Sirius' death; not that that's necessarily a bad thing but I think it's a very 'Harry' thing to do- put his mourning off until the war is over. That kind of thing builds tho and sometimes won't let you wait for it so I wonder how all that will pan out.
Can't wait for the veritaserum(sp?) thing with Draco; somehow I have a bad feeling about it. O_O
Fantastic installment and I can't wait for the next.
Yay, you reviewed twice! You're lovely! I'm so so glad you think Harry's characterization is ok because of all the charac`ters he's the one we're given the most information about and I find him the most difficult character to pin down because we see so many different sides of him. The Sirius issue is going to be huge in HBP, how could JKR torture our boy so cruelly!?
Next instalment coming very soon, love. Thanks again!
I agreed with most of the other comments but just wanted to put in my own two pence XP
I loved the intro back when I read it, the depth to Draco that's being explored is making my giddy with anticipation and his ideals (per se) make a lot of sense. As someone mentioned it's sticking to canon, which is another plus because it builds on the original characters :D I really like your (so to speak) Draco and I can't wait for more of him and Harry's interaction... the questioning in particular will be excellent to read. I wonder who'll be present :O
There's also the way that you're not focusing this mainly on the Harry/Draco fighting the war etc. There's the Hogwarts life and the touch of Ginny's practical joke was luff XD Snape didn't seem too pleased though. The teenage angst and dramedy is totally on the mark, they're real people after all and have to deal with everything we did (haha no cop out for them!).
I love your two pence! Please never fail to give it!
I'm really glad you liked the intro because I was worried that I went into unnecessary amounts of detail with Draco and his thoughts and ideals and stuff but if you think it worked then I am really pleased.
Thanks for such a thoughtful review, much appreciated.
