Ok, this is a very quick message but it is in response to a rather indignant one left by somebody who repeatedly refered to me as "Roxy" and claimed that I was lying in my past journal entries and I have been ritually changing my name to hide my identity. The truth is that "Tempus Fugit" seems to have been plagiarized under the name of C.Roxane,

If I might suggest, could you provide more information on why you believe that Stylophile is C. Roxane, in addition to the author name change on slash-pimp? There are no dates of publication on that website, but I'd be willing to bet that Stylophile's TF was published before that specific page went online.

You said yourself in your first comment: If you are roxy understand-this-sockpuppets are not welcomed in fandom. to many lies--how do you keep track ?
"If" you are Roxy. That implies uncertainty. You believe that Stylophile really is the plagiarist on what proof?

If this is just a simple misunderstanding--which is what I believe is the case--there will be nothing accomplished if you are flippant and aggressive. By "aggressive", I mean you left several comments in a public post instead of emailing Stylophile privately to hash out whatever problem you have with C. Roxane.

Then explain the elel_rocks and elle thing. And why delete or hide the post. It only makes her look guilty. I know you are her friend so your not likely to believe it. I know C.Roxane has used fake names and e-mails to cyber stalk me for months now. If elle isns't roxy, or elel_rox then prove it. As I said.. I have been reading roxy's work for years. And saw more than one post stating that stylophile is C.Roxane. Roxy has gotten rid of old accounts and post that link save the one at the slash pimp.And contently it all came about the same time this writer appeared. All I wanted was proof she isn't.. but she hasn't answered my questions yet. She only got angery or just panicked

Someone plagiarized Tempus Fugit? That's disgusting. I'll be honest with you, TF was probably the first fic (of any genre, let alone HP) that I read and actually thought was great and really well-written. Knowing that someone else is trying to take that honor is just sad.

What's the problem, anyway? Even if you posted it under a different name on a different site, I don't see why that would be an issue, unless this Roxy person has history with the commenter. Regardless, you're an amazing writer and you shouldn't let this get to you :)

Thank you so much, that is extremely kind and it makes me feel soooo much better to see that people are coming to my defence. I'm so glad that you enjoyed Tempus Fugit and that you believe that it was my own work and not Roxy's, whoever the hell she is. I appreciate it more than you know.

Tempus Fugit marked the beginning of my fanfic love. I remember waiting to read each segment and falling in love all over again with Harry Potter(since that was one of my down years with it). I normally don't find fanfiction worth much attention, but TF is a masterpiece that I love revisiting over and over again.

I wouldn't bother this with this person they don't seem to understand that you certainly aren't plagarizing your own story and aren't this "Roxy" personage. Maybe they should go jump off a bridge with them.

Thank you!! Like I said in the comments above, I am so touched by you coming to my defence in this matter and I appreciate it so much! It's so weird because ever since I took a break from fandom to travel, I have been very inactive and there has been no chance at all of me offending anyone. People like you guys who have commented so fast make fandom even more rewarding and worthwhile.

I'm so sorry that this is happening to you. I loved TF, and I think it's a shame that this would happen to anyone, especially you. I read this journal because of it, so I know I followed a link at some point and it certainly feels like ages ago. You're an incredible writer; anyone who is giving you grief needs to get a life of their own (literally).

Now, I know this won't make things any better, but I feel like it's worth pointing out anyway: at least someone thinks your fic is worth plagiarizing!

I can't see why would they have the guts to telling you that you didn't write TF. It was one of the few well written HP fic -which I love btw- and I was all the way of its making.

You shouldn't let someone like her bother you. All the people who read TF 3-4 years ago know that if they see it under other name that you go by, it must be a copy/paste under other alias, and there by, not theirs.

Show us some screencaps of the fic with the two authors and the _proof_ that she is C.Roxane.

I have a right to make sure what I said comes out stright. and isn't misunderstood. I also said (if she isn't rox then some one lied.) It bears repeating cause it's true.
