Recs and Ramblings

Thanks go first to everyone who reviewed TF8 for me and lent me their opinions. I tamed it down a bit and then submitted it to FA and ff.net so I hope all will be well. The next chapter has been written so you won’t have to wait as long for it, it just needs some editing work and then it’ll be done. Here are some cookies for you from one of the ( Read more... )

What I want to know is, who will play Aloysius?

And if you want true English gay goodness, read Stephen Fry's novel The Liar. Oh the sheer wonder of it all!

That's a good question! Ooh, maybe I should audition, I could sit on Jude Law's knee all day in a teddy bear outfit. We could call it artistic.

Am now off to hunt down The Liar, thanks for the rec!

*muttering about damn livejournal*
*sigh*

I know it may not help much, but I listen to music. Sometimes it's just that you've lost the feel of the story. Try getting a c.d. that ought to help you get back into the story's mind frame, and either lay back, read other fics, or go out for a walk, with your trusty discman. I also tend to ride the train, when I'm in most desperate need, or I take a shower, because, funny as it may sound, most of my best ideas occur in the bathroom.

Thanks for the cookies, even if I'm now even hungrier for the next chapter. I don't know if I've mentioned this yet, but I adore this fic.

Aw, thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying it. Thanks also for your advice, which is very good. Right as we speak I am listening to my discman and laying back and dabbling in other fics. I think it's working actually, I'm feeling more inspired.

Love

Good, I'm glad to have helped, if even a bit. Immerse yourself, and let the fic flow. *addicted*

Argh, ninety-nine point nine percent of films with homosexual themes are banned here in Singapore, and I was debating whether or not to ship in Wilde because my mom really does not need to know what all her money's going into. But since you recced it so beautifully - heck, I'll get it. XD

I used to live in Singapore and I miss it a lot. However, being able to go down to the store here in the states and pick up Queer as Folk or Wilde...that's a very good thing. :D

What what what? How could Singapore do that to its population?! Ship in Wilde, it's so perfect, I cry every time I watch it! Definitely worth it.

Eek! When you had this line "If you like Jude Law and you like gay cinema and you like Jude Law in gay cinema..." I got all excited, thinking that there was something else besides "Wilde" but I've already seen it. (And want to slap Bosie, grr).

Paris/Achilles slash...yum.

Sorry! I'll hunt down some more for you, I'm sure there's some more out there! I love Bosie but he does need a good kicking.

Aha, slash coming!
