I want a Monome.

It's a controller for electronic music and other new media type stuff like live visuals, you can also make games with it, etc. The thing is, if I manage to get it (scoring one is beginning to be like winning the lottery, they've been known to be sold out in two minutes!), I'll never remember which visuals or effects I've assigned to the buttons. ah, so this is a sequencer for music and music only and is modeled after the Monome. The interface is sure prettier.

no no. read my post carefully, it's a midi controller, so you can use it for visuals, like how i use my oxygen 8. but there's an even cooler one called the Lemur by Jazzmutant. If it's affordable, i might wanna get it. http://www.jazzmutant.com/lemur_gallery_pics.php

no I haven't. this is an open source one, and I'm not sure if it's that easy to use either.
