It is my opinion that politicians should all take a course on courtesy and respect.
Harper has a few wires loose in his head. The signals are obviously misfiring in every direction.
He says Separatist in English, but Sovereignist in French. They are not synonymous terms.
He lambasted the proposed coalition and the Bloc one day, then extended the offer to work with them the next - without apologising for the earlier remark, or admitting that he was at all wrong.
When asked about his comments about the Bloc and Quebec, he avoided the subject, citing that the economy was his main focus.
I just heard on CBC that one of the Conservative MPs admitted that Harper essentially "wrote off" Quebec on Election night (after he didn't make any of the gains he had hoped to make there). Well, that sure explains a lot, doesn't it?
Harper isn't a Conservative. He's a Reformer in Conservative clothes. His true colours are showing more and more every day.
I never liked the man. Now I'm absolutely retching bile at the idea that he shares the air we all breathe!
What worries me the most, though, is that there are a LOT of folks out West who voted for the man who think the same way.
