I'm not sure if it's a sign of the sad state of television (thousands of channels and nothing to watch) or a sign that it's the summer rerun season, but the top three shows on my DVR schedule are the daily episodes of "Hawaii 5-0", "MacGyver" and "Quantum Leap". (Yes, I am a nerd. Deal with it.)

I didn't even watch the show and I got the reference. Hell, I might even use it!

About Scott Bakula and Richard Dean Anderson: I hear ya. Good looking, masculine type guys. The Sainted Bride is a BIG Scott Bakula fan. Don't know about Anderson, but she'd probably think he's pretty good looking too.

Can't speak to Jack Lord, though. I don't see it, but maybe I just have too many y-chromosomes :)

Well, I always knew your wife had good taste in men :). (I hope to do another Scott Bakula post soon, maybe this weekend.)
The Jack Lord thing has a lot to do with attitude. You could say he was the Chuck Norris of his day, ya know? :)

well it could be worse, we could have a David Soul reference. i love the insanity of the Jack Lord fan club. his true claim to fame is being Felix Lighter in Dr. No, if memory serves me right. to be in a Bond film marks the highlight of any career.
