The problem is that the clone we are seeing is completely expressionless: he gained some kind of awareness but not a heart, at least from what I saw of him in chapter209 and before. On the other side, if you remember the tube scene in chapter01, the Syaoran inside was everything but poker faced ^^;;
Still, as said before, this is a nice possibility ^^

Its like they had a whole good plot planned out--
but went with this because it was quick and they got lazy or ran out of time or something.
If they hadn't wasted all those chapters on useless chibis this wouldn't be happening.

So true!!! But at the same time the main problem with the whole manga is the lack of characters. I know there have been lots of characters in the visited worlds, but they have been just 'fillers' to give the world 'life'. In terms of main chars we have been always stuck with the same ones, and any new one has been a clone of the main 4.... There is the problem, it had been cool if a new traveller had joint the party, but not a clone of Syaoran!!! A bit more of variety had been interesting. With the set of characters we have it was too logical one Syaoran had to die. Clones have KILLED this manga.

Gah. They couldn't even stretch themselves far enough to invent new protaganists the first time, just using that fact that 'omg its Sakura and Syaoran and they're BACK but DIFFERENT!' as a selling point. even Kuro and Fai are just a slightly altered version of Touya and Yukito D: kills me to say it. Tsubasa is just a CCS crossover doujin gone horribly wrong.
Clones are killing everything! STOP THE MASSACRE!
