-Those two months  in Tokyo -

When he arrived at his new flat he was surprise by how neatly Nino had organized it. It had a nice bed, a big TV fully equipped, two big sofas, a cleaning service already hired and a fridge full of food. “Call us if anything happen, If you want we can come visit you or whatever” Said Jun the first time Sho called him after he arrived at his new temporary house. But Sho shrugged it off. In fact, the words from his boss kept turning around inside his head. He did care a lot of his brothers, after their parents died, he felt like he should be there, at home. Jun, Nino and Aiba were still young, they needed his support, he had to be there for them. Although he was full conscious that more than him taking care of his brothers, his brothers took care of him.
He couldn’t understand why, but it didn’t bother him.
He felt safe.
And the girlfriend issue, that was a delicate issue, he didn’t like to discuss it, not even with himself.

It wasn’t that bad. That could be Sho’s resume of the first week there.
At the new office there were 6 employees that needed his guidance, and they were actually really nice people. None of them was originally from Tokyo, so they understood why Sho was so reluctant to move there, even for a short time. The followed Sho orders really carefully, and he quite liked that. They worked really well, they followed his orders, did their work right, and they were proactive, a thing that Sho always appreciated. They invited him for dinner every night, showing him the good places in Tokyo. “Boss, since you’re going to be here for two month, and you live by yourself, you have to know where you can find the best ramen and the best katsudon”
“True!” Screamed the other 5. Sho felt at ease with this team, they were way better than the team in Osaka. Good thing, because that new office was important for the company. “Boss, may I say something?” The youngest one, Akada, who was in charge of accounting, was a very energetic guy, and didn’t move from Sho’s side since the first moment.
“Sure”
“You’re quite handsome” Sho jolted on his seat “So what about you and me” Again his body jumped unintentionally “Go to a gokuon next week, if you go, more girl will come right?”
“Akada! Don’t be inappropriate! He is our boss, not your drinking buddy” Sho was grateful by Makoto’s (the only girl in the team) intervention. He just laughed, but inside he was already feeling anxious by the idea of a gokuon.
His co-workers invited him to different parts to go during the weekend, but he politely reject them saying that he needed time to organize his things and visit his new neighborhood.

The plan for that Saturday was to wake up early in the morning, organize the last things inside the house, and then hit the streets, he wanted to find the closest gym and the closest laundry, two basic things for his lifestyle.
But he overslept. And was rudely awaken at 11 in the morning by the intercom. “Yeah?”
“Umm, hello…, You see I live just above you, and I don’t have my keys, would you open the door please?” Sho doubted for a while, what if it was a thief, the landlord told him that he should avoid those kinds of things, it wasn’t very safe. Apparently she sense it “Look I’m not a thief as that landlord says, let’s do something, look through the window, you will realize that it’s quite unlikely for me to be a thief” He hung up the intercom and walked towards the living room window.
In fact it was quite unlikely for her to be a thief, no thief goes around in jeans, stilettos and an oversized golden sweater. Also, the big supermarket bags said a lot, she was indeed his neighbor. The girl threw him a smile, which Sho answered. He came back to the intercom “I’m opening the door, and wait there, you look as if you need some help”
”That would be the best” Sho put on a parka and his sneakers and dash outside his house.
The girl was waiting for him in front of the elevator, resting her arms “Hi new neighbor! I’m Tanaka Natsu”
“I’m Sho, Sakurai…Sho”
“Well, aren’t you cute? Thanks for the help, but here is the bad news, I can’t use the elevator, they freak me out, so, would you help me take these bad boys to my flat…5 floors?
“No problem”
“Really?!”
”Sure, it’s only 5 floors, give me the heavier ones” She smiled at him, and went back to her bags, weighing them “But, can you use the stairs with those shoes?” She only winked at him, she was use to those extra 10 centimetres.
“Welcome to the building Sakurai-san”
“Ah, thank you” Sho’s shy voice made her smile “It’s a nice building, I have been living here for 6 months, the landlord can be a bit of an ass sometimes, but as long as you don’t mess with him, it’s alright, what else…plastic on Wednesday, paper on Friday and organic on Mondays”
“Oh, I didn’t know that, thank you for telling me”
“Sure we are neighbours now” They reached the fifth floor in no time, and Natsu walked him to her flat. She reached inside one of the lamps next to her door and took a key from inside “I left my keys at work, and I realized when I was already at Donky (1) buying the things for the month, too late to go back to my work”
“Where do you work?”
“At Purple Rain, a bar in Shinbashi”
“What do you do there?” Natsu opened the door, and look at him with a coy expression “I’m a Kaba girl (2)” Sho blinked a couple of times, he didn’t want to look rude, but it was a bit of a shock “That’s the expression that everyone gives me, but it’s just a job, what’s yours?”
“I’m a host” Sho couldn’t believe that he was actually joking, that was probably the first joke he made in his entire life, and it turn out well, Natsu was laughing “Good one, but to be honest, I will totally pay for spend an hour drinking expensive champagne and talking to you about my day”
“Well, I can do that for free” Sho made an internal surprise face. He was flirting, wasn’t he? “Well, we are neighbours now, so, let’s get along ok?”
“Sure” She guided him inside, indicating him were to leave the bags. Natsu said that he moved to that place a while ago, at least Sho thought so, then why there was such a small amount of furniture and some things were still in boxes. The living had just one sofa, a little coffee table and a suitcase with books on top. There were several shelves but nothing on them, just an ash tray and a cat. “What’s its name?” Natsu grabbed the cat from the shelve and shove it in Sho’s arms “It doesn’t have a name, I don’t own this cat, he’s a free spirit, we give each other company, but that’s all” There, with all those small clues, Sho thought that Natsu looked like someone who could be a lot of work …not that he wanted to try anything with her.

On Sunday, they met again, outside the building. She was arriving from work, and Sho was on his way back from one of Ohno’s bakeries, she hold the door for him and they exchange a polite smile. Sho was taken aback by Natsu’s short skirt and did his best to not look at her legs, that wasn’t like him at all. Natsu noticed the paper bag in Sho’s hand “I love the bread from there! Is like biting a cloud”
“Thank you, ummm, it’s my brother’s bakery”
“Your what what? Your brother’s bakery? Your brother owns Pan for Me bakery?”
“He and two of my younger brothers, but he is the mastermind behind those breads that you love so much” Sho walked to the stairs, since Natsu was with him, he knew that they wouldn’t use the elevator, she thanked him for that, Sho only shrugged it off. “Sakurai-kun, how many brothers do you have?”
“Four, I live with the younger ones in the house our parents left us”
“Oh, I’m sorry” Natsu posed her hand on top of his right arm, and Sho’s heartbeat soared “Oh no, it’s alright, life goes on, they were great parents and that’s all that matters” They reached the fifth floor submerged in a nice talk about Sho’s family. Sho stopped at the fourth floor, saying goodbye. “Oh” I just got an idea, come up stairs for lunch, I will not cook because I don’t know how, but I will order really good food, Are you in?” Sho nodded enthusiastically and Natsu thought for the 100th time that he was too cute for his own good.
Natsu ordered Italian food from the best restaurant of the neighbour and when Sho arrived with a bottle of wine, the table was nicely set. “Did you sleep?”
“What do you mean?”
“Oh well, you arrived just this morning from work…right?”
“Not really, normally on Fridays and Saturdays we work until late, so I stay with a friend that works with me and lives in Shinbashi”  Natsu gave him a signal to seat in the small table next to the kitchen. The chairs didn’t match, but they gave a nice feeling to the house. “So, Sakurai-kun, I haven’t asked you, what do you do for life?”
“I’m an accountant, I work in a small company in Osaka, and this month we opened our first office here, so I will be living here for two months, getting the office on track, and then I’ll be back” That took her by surprise “You will leave?, that’s so sad” Sho didn’t know how to answer, so he only stuffed his mouth with pasta. “What about you?”
“Well, as you know I’m a Kaba girl, I finished school and I started working, I don’t know what to do with my life yet, I’m still 24 so I have time, and I have been working as a Caba girl for 2 years, I’m damn good at my work”
“You are?”
“Yeah, I’m a good listener, and when they need to talk about anything but work or family, I bring up fun issues, or I just make dirty jokes, as long as they don’t touch me without my permission, everything is alright” Sho hid his smile behind the glass of wine and kept asking questions to Natsu.

Everyday, just when Sho was arriving from work, Natsu was leaving for work. “Good night!”
“Good night”
“Thanks for your work Sakurai-kun”
“Do your best at yours Tanaka-san”
“Sakurai-kun, by the way, wanna go visit me at work tomorrow night?” Sho blinked a lot before answer  “Sure, I’ll like to do that” Natsu gave him the address with  bright eyes. She waved at him with a wide smile and walked down the street. Sho got inside the building only when he saw Natsu getting in to a cab.

The second week at work was even better. Sho corroborate that his co-workers were good, smart and fast at work. By Friday, at 1pm all the reports he needed were done and resting on his desk. They literally had nothing more to do for the rest of the day, so Sho dismissed them.
He thought about going for a walk,  he had Aiba’s notebook with all this places he should visit being in Tokyo, so he decided on taking a walk around Asakusa. He visited different temples, walked around, ate in different stalls and bought red underwear. He didn’t realize how fast time passed, it was already 8 pm and he had to go home, take a shower, change his clothes and go visit Natsu at her work.
The Purple Rain was quite a nice place, way too many giggling girls, but it looked like a…nice place. Not great, but nice. But for Sho it wasn’t a great place because they were way too many girls. Not even 5 minutes have passed since he arrived there, and already three girls with big hair, deep cleavages and big fake eyelashes have wave and wink at him. And it made him anxious, cold sweat on his nape and hands. He hated feel anxious.
“Sakurai-kun!, welcome!” Natsu’s voice was already a familiar voice for Sho. He turned around smiling and choked in his own saliva when he saw her, for some reason she looked especially pretty tonight. She didn’t look tacky as the other girls, her hair was down, and she was wearing a simple black dress with short sleeves a heart shape neckline and girly ruffles around the bottom. “You look gorgeous”
“No, it’s just the dress”
“No, I’m sure that without the dress you still look beautiful” Natsu got the unintentional double sense behind that sentence and Sho quickly tried to excuse himself “No, I’m not saying that I have been imagining you naked, I was just saying…” She sat next to him, patting his back and calling the bartender.” It’s alright, don’t get flustered by that…Ask for whatever you want, I invite”
“Oh you don’t ….” Sho stopped when he saw the warning look “Ok, I’ll take that drink, a dry martini please”
“Oh my god, you drink like my costumers, such an old boring drink, no, bring him a Mojito Diablo (3) please” Sho shrugged and waited for his drink. “So, this is my workplace, like it?”
”It’s really nice, you have a lot of pretty co-workers” Natsu felt a bit angry by that comment, but Sho was a man, and it was normal to find all those girls pretty “They are super cute right?, today one of my regulars is coming, so I’m waiting for him, normally he leaves early, so I’ll be finish here by 12, would you wait for me so we can go together and share the taxi?”
“Sure, no problem”
“If you get tired of the music or the stares of my co-workers, you can go to one of the private rooms, they are a couple of them free tonight” Sho liked the idea, but he also wanted to watch Natsu in action, he was really curious about it. They sat, arm to arm at the bar, Sho talked about his week, and Natsu looked honestly interested in his words. She did care. Listening Sho’s  talk about work gave her a sense of familiarity, of calm.  Just when Sho was running out of things to say and his Mojito Diablo was almost finished, one of Natsu’s regulars arrived. She jumped down from her seat, winked at Sho whispering that she will be back and met with three men’s. The mans looked like really rich guys, expensive suits, gold cufflinks and Italian shoes. Natsu passed her arms around the shoulders of two of the guys, and blow a kiss to the third one, they sat together and the laughs started. Sho couldn’t get what she was saying but they laugh a lot.  Once in a while she would look at him and flash a smile, and then go back to her talk with her costumers.  They shared a plate of small canapés, a bottle of wine and at 12 they were already leaving. She gave him a signal to wait there, she had to go pick her coat and bag. Once she was back, Sho was already with his jacket on, waiting for her at the entrance. Some of her co-workers were looking at her with naughty looks and she answered sticking her tongue out.
Sho stopped a taxi and let her get in first. They had a full hour of travel, so they sat comfortably, watching the lights, chitchatting. “Why are you working there?” That question had been moving around his head for a while “I’m saving money”
“For what?”
“I don’t know yet, as soon as I know I’ll tell you” Sho smiled widely, he liked how open and at the same time mysterious Natsu was. “Did you like the Purple Rain?”
“Sure, is interesting”
“You didn’t look too comfortable though, I saw when one of my friends came to you, and you got super uncomfortable, you were making this brooding face, poor boy”
”Well…I, have issues with girls, not very sure what kind of issues, but I get very nervous and anxious when I’m with them, my hands get sweaty, my voice breaks…I feel like I don’t know what to say, what to do, it’s quite stressful sometimes” Natsu stayed in silence looking at Sho with a doleful face, her way to interpret Sho’s words was kind of masochistic. Her first thought was that he didn’t look at her as a girl. “But Sakurai-kun, I’m a girl, and you are not anxious, and look” She grabbed one of his hands “Your hands are dry” Sho looked at Natsu’s fingers caressing his hands and then at her, who looked back at him with kind eyes “I guess…you’re different”
“How different?”
”Different as in…I feel good next to you” Natsu’s voice was a whisper “Move closer and you can feel better” Sho didn’t move immediately, but after Natsu pulled his hand, he moved closer. Natsu dropped a kiss on his cheek and rested her head in Sho’s shoulder. Fuck whatever he said before. He did want to try something. It didn’t matter how different they were. Because Natsu was just as her name. She was sun, light, sea and mountain, freedom and no worries.
And Sho’s life needed all that.
They reached their building and both laugh when the taxi driver wish them a fun night. They walked in silence until they reach the glass door that lead to the lobby. Sho took his keys and opened the door. He grabbed Natsu’s hand again and pulled her inside with him. They walked to the stairs and with no rush they climb the 4 flours with their fingers still knotted and leaning against each other.
Saying that Sho’s heart throbbed like the wings of a hummingbird, was no exaggeration. And Natsu could feel it. She gave him a sweet smile and got a sweeter one in return. Natsu was fascinated by him.
They reached Sho’s door, he opened it with some difficulty and when they got inside Sho’s flat, he was already pinned against the wall. The kiss was soft, but Natsu’s grip around his hips was strong. Sho couldn’t remember the last time he kissed someone, let alone remember the last time a kiss made him feel like that. “I really wanted to kiss your lips Sakurai-kun” Her breath felt warm against his lips, and her hand slowly moved up to caress his face “They are not a big deal”
“You don’t know what you are talking about” She covered his mouth again, already missing Sho’s plump lips that tasted so good and felt so comforting. She couldn’t avoid but smile against the kiss when Sho’s hand started to gain confidence and they were finally moving up and down her arms, or around her waist. For her own sanity, she moved away, looking at Sho’s eyes, making his body shiver with excitement and nerves. But he didn’t want this to stop. Just kissing felt so wonderful, and Natsu, who was clearly a woman, didn’t make him feel anxious or insecure. On the contrary, little by little he felt more comfortable, and with more and more assurance of what to do, of what he wanted to do with this amazing woman that right now showed a sincere fixation with his lower lip and a sudden annoyance towards the buttons of Sho’s shirt. Things suddenly changed, and Sho got the message “Are we going to…”
“I don’t know…do you want me to stay?” Sho only nodded, a shy nod that made Natsu smile “Ok, I’ll stay, you go to your bed and wait there for me, I have to go and feed the cat” She dropped a last kiss in Sho’s lips and dashed up stairs, cursing the day she develop care towards that cat. But the poor animal was famished, and happily purred at her when he saw her with a can of food in her hands. Meanwhile the cat ate his food she run to the bathroom, washed her teeth, put on some perfume and grabbed  a couple of condoms.
But what she found when she arrived in Sho’s room was nothing but a bummer.
Sho was sound asleep. Snoring and curled in a ball on top of the bed. She was decided, she was going to shook him awake and have what she wanted. But his face looked too cute and too innocent. She couldn’t do that to him. She took of her dress, lay next to him and covered herself and Sho with the duvet. Sho snuggled next to her, and that really got her. She pulled him closer to her body, in a tight hug, kissing the top of his head. “I thought you would have your way with me Sakurai-kun” She only got a snore as a response. Her hug got tighter, and after kissing Sho in the nose and look at his cute face for the last time, she fall asleep.
Sho woke up by the sound of the unforgivable alarm of his cell phone. It was Saturday, then why that sound?. And it hit him, that Saturday he had a special meeting with his boss and the new team. He completely forgot about it. He had to show his boss the progress of those two weeks, introduce him the new workers, maybe take him for a meal, too many things to do and he wasn’t prepared at all. But staying in bed wouldn’t help either. If he was fast, he could prepare something, maybe a little resume, or a simple power point presentation, everything he had to say was on his mind anyway “Sakurai-kun?” Sho jolted, suddenly realizing about another thing. Natsu was lying next to him, holding his left arm, and looking at him with a bit of worry “Are you alright?” Sho hesitated before he could make his mouth function “I…have work and…I just remember that …I…have work”
“Really? But no! It’s Saturday, and…and I was hoping that…you know…”
“I felt asleep last night…sorry”
“Yeah, you own me one…at what time you have to be at the office?”
“9 o’clock” Natsu raised from the bed, and climb on top of Sho, reaching his phone “And its 7 o’clock…we have time” Natsu dropped herself full weight on top of Sho, holding his hand, crushing their lips together. Surprise was probably the main feeling running around his body, and Natsu could feel it. Now she had a goal, she had to make him relax and give up. She softly bit his lower lip, finally getting a response from him. Sho answered her kiss, but he was still enduring it, he had work, in two hours, he had to still prepare it. But Natsu wasn’t going to give up. She released Sho’s lips, leaving him speechless, and moved downwards, pulling down his pants and laying in between his legs. Sho’s reaction was too cute in Natsu’s eyes. His face was a mixture between fear, embarrassment and surprise. He didn’t have the time to do anything at home, so he only relayed in his mind and this new feeling of aplomb.
“Sho-kun, that was great, I knew I did well sending you here”
“Well, we have good numbers, and HR hired really good people so it is not …”
“No Sho-kun, I didn’t mean that, yeah work is going great, but I’m talking about you, Look at you! You look good! Young, happy, relaxed, confident, isn’t it great?” Sho didn’t know what to answer, but recalling every single event since he leaved home that morning, he did feel a bit different. He looked up instead of look at the floor as he walked to the subway station. When he saw his reflection on the elevator he was smiling, and when he arrive at the meeting room and found his co-workers and boss waiting for him he didn’t get nervous at all, not even a bit nervous, he just stood in front of them and start talking. They saw an easy going Sho, who gave really simple and clear explanations and who also dropped some jokes.
He felt like a new Sho. So maybe his boss was right. “I’m very happy son, you’re doing an impeccable work here and you’re turning in to a merrier person, we killed two birds!”

After a couple of meetings and a meal with his boss, Sho was finally able to go home. He wanted to met Natsu, tell her how good he did at work, and tell her why he did so good at work. As soon as his boss told him he look good, he immediately knew who what the reason, or better said, who was the reason.
Just when he was arriving at the building, Natsu was leaving for work. She stopped there, receiving him with a smile, doubting if she should kiss him or not. “My boss send me here because he was worried, he said I was working too much and that I looked like a zombie…which was true, and I was ok with that, but today for the first time in years he said I look good, even younger…thanks to you”
“Just because of a blow job?”

I don’t think I was a zombie before, but since I met you I have been feeling specially happy and bewitched by you” Sho felt relieved that at least it was reciprocal. He still had doubts about it.
Natsu felt like a little girl on Christmas eve, midnight was too far away and for the first time she felt annoyed by her costumers.  She wanted to go home, Sho’s home, and kiss him, hug him and fuck him for once!.
